Battery Replacement
NOTE: This process requires small tools and precise movements. You may want to seek out a qualified jeweler or watch repair shop.
- Place a soft clean cloth on your work surface to avoid scratching the crystal.
- Lay the watch face down on the cloth. Remove the four screws located on the back of the watch.
- Remove the back, being careful to note which way it came off. Make sure the gasket stays in place.
- Now, you have to be VERY careful with the clip over the battery.
- Find the U-shaped end of it that is bent over the side of the battery that locks it in. Then use a tool that allows you to lift up the U a bit to unsnap it, so it can gently be lifted up and over the battery. This clip does not need to be removed, just opened enough that the battery can be removed.
- Remove the battery.
- Replace the battery with a CR 1620 3-Volt Lithium cell battery.
- Push the battery clip down to lock. This secures the battery in place.
- Make sure the gasket is in place on the back case to maintain water resistance.
- Replace the back, making sure it goes on the same way it came off. The writing on the back should face the same direction as the writing on the front.
NOTE: If the back is put on upside down you will not get a good seal even if the back seems to be on all the way.
- Replace the screws on the back.
- The watch will display dashes “-: --“ at this point.

Location/Interference/History-questions to consider as they can contribute to the signal not being picked up:
• Is the watch located near an exterior wall or window that faces Ft. Collins, Colorado?
• What part of the world is the watch kept?
• Have there been storms in this area lately?
• Is the building where the watch is at night single-family or multi-family dwelling?
