C85845 - Why does the station say OFF or display alert symbols?

The triangles with exclamation marks (!) and the word OFF are for the Alerts settings. If you want to be alerted if a certain temperature or humidity level is reached, you can set the Alerts to notify you when this happens. The weather station will start sounding an alarm when that specific temperature or humidity level is reached. This feature would be useful to monitor a specific location that may need to be controlled.  

If you have no use for that feature, you can just disregard the triangles with (!) and OFF. The weather station will still fully function with those alerts turned OFF.
