Step 1: Reset Your Station
- Press and hold the Plus (+) and Minus (–) buttons until the station beeps or the Wi-Fi icon blinks.
- Press and hold the two outer buttons until the station resets.
- Unplug the power cord and remove the button battery (or AA batteries, if your model uses them).
- Press any button on the display at least 20 times before powering the station back up.
Step 2: Verify Your Wi-Fi Network
- Your station only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n). It will not work on 5 GHz.
- Confirm your mobile device is connected to a single 2.4 GHz network.
Step 3: Connect via the La Crosse View App
- Open the La Crosse View app.
- Tap the 3 horizontal lines (menu) at the top of the screen.
- Go to Help > Advanced Wi-Fi > Quick Connect via SmartConfig.
Tips if You Still Cannot Connect
- Enable or connect only to a single, dedicated 2.4 GHz network.
- Restart your mobile device and try again.
- Try using a different mobile device.
- Reset your router.
- Make sure your Wi-Fi password is correct. (Tip: On your mobile device, “Forget” the network and reconnect to double-check.)
- For mesh routers:
- Turn off all satellites and leave only the main hub on.
- Move your mobile device farther from the router until you’re out of 5 GHz range, then reconnect to 2.4 GHz and retry.
