No Readings or Inaccurate Readings on Display - Breeze Pro TX145WSDTHv3 or higher
Why Does My TX145WSDTH Sensor Read Inaccurately?
The thermo-hygro sensor reads the environment. Since your Temperature/Humidity readings come from the combination Wind/Temp/Humidity sensor they may occasionally be inaccurate if direct sunlight hits the sensor for prolonged periods.
If this is a common occurrence you can purchase a TX141TH-B series temperature sensor and replace the Temperature/Humidity Readings from the combo sensor.
How do I Replace the Temp/Humidity Reading from the Wind/Temp Combo Sensor with a TX141TH-B Series Sensor?
If the temperature is reading high, you can replace the temp/humidity readings from the TX145WSDTH and add a TX141TH-B series temp/humidity sensor to read in the OUTDOOR area of the display instead.
- From the normal time display, press the CLEAR I - button and the Outdoor Temp/Humidity will flash.
- Hold the CLEAR I - button 5 seconds to delete the Temp/Humidity reading only. The Station will search for the Temp Humidity reading. Alternatively, you can press and hold the TEMP button to search for the Temp/Humidity signal.
- Install new batteries into the add-on sensor and press the TX button inside its battery compartment. The LED light on the sensor will flash.
- The sensor should connect almost instantly with its data appearing on the screen. The sensor icon will appear when an add-on sensor is being used.
Please note that if the display does not receive a signal from the TX141THB-Series sensor within three minutes, the display will revert to the temperature/humidity readings from the TX145WSDTH.
What Does a Reading of "Hi" or "Lo" Mean?
- If your outdoor temperature reading shows “HI” or “LO”, check that your batteries are good.
Overpowered or underpowered batteries can cause this reading. - If batteries are good, replace the outdoor sensor.
- If your temperature is fine but your humidity is reading “HI” or “LO” or dashes, your humidity may be below 10% Relative Humidity. Your sensor does not read below 10% humidity.
Why are there NO readings or dashes on my Weather Station Display?
Dashes indicate that the connection between your station and the combo sensor has been lost.
- Always check that the batteries are good. If the sensor has been working and now is not, low batteries are the most common connection problem.
- Check that the sensor is receiving full sunlight on the solar panel.
- Check your distance, resistance and interference. Sometimes new growth on trees or new electrical devices in the home can interfere with the signal. You can try turning the station 90 degrees for a better angle to receive the sensor signal.
- Hold the TEMP button to search for the senor.
- If the sensor is recovered, while mounted, excellent. If not, bring the sensor within 10 feet of the station and search again.
